Kankaanpää and the zone of Northern Satakunta offer extensive possibilities for canoeing. You can enjoy beautiful route of the River Karvianjoki , which flows through Kankaanpää to the Gulf of Bothnia. Upstream there’s salmon farming ! This river is currently the only place in Finland where the European beaver is found!
