Lauhanvuori–Hämeenkangas Geopark A new business group project is being prepared in the region, the aim of which is to strengthen the region's tourism companies' capabilities for international markets and promote sustainable tourism.

The LHGeopark business group project is starting and you can still apply to join.

The project focuses on the commercialization of tourism products and tours, as well as international distribution. In addition, cooperation with tour operators will be developed and, where possible, participation in international sales events and fairs will be undertaken.

As a key part of the project, companies will have the opportunity to complete sustainable tourism certifications and apply for the Sustainable Travel Finland label. The certification supports the responsibility of tourism in the region and responds to the growing demand in environmentally and quality-conscious markets.

The self-financing share of participating companies is determined by the number of participants and the selected measures. The final decision on participation will be made once the project budget has been specified.
