Almost all of Satakunta is at the basic level of corona - even adults can exercise indoors

The Satakunta Regional Infectious Disease Control Working Group (ATTR) met on 12.5.2021 May XNUMX and stated that Satakunta is epidemiologically at the baseline level of the coronavirus, but Eurajoki and Nakkila are in the spread phase and Eura and Kokemäki are in the acceleration phase. Coronavirus mutations are also prevalent in Satakunta, so restrictions and recommendations will continue to be lifted moderately, while closely monitoring the situation.

The incidence rate in Satakunta on 12.5.2021 May 25,5 was 100 / 000 inhabitants / 14 days, based on the THL corona map. There has been no significant change in the incidence rate now. There have been three infections in the area of the North Satakunta Basic Services Joint Municipality (PoSa) in the last two weeks.

The municipal leaders of the North Satakunta region, the management team of the City of Kankaanpää, and Margit Seppälä, the chief physician responsible for infectious diseases at PoSa, assessed the situation for the entire North Satakunta region at a meeting held on Friday, May 14.5.2021, 21.5.2021. The next situation review will be held on Friday, May XNUMX, XNUMX.

This bulletin provides information on the status of corona measures and upcoming changes for the city of Kankaanpää. Other municipalities in the PoSa area will provide information about their own detailed measures on their websites (links at the end of the bulletin).

Coronavirus measures of the City of Kankaanpää

Early childhood education and primary and secondary schools

Primary and secondary schools will continue with face-to-face teaching, and early childhood education and preschool will continue as normal. ATTR recommends ensuring that there is no contact between different groups. Mask recommendations remain unchanged.

Upper secondary education

Kankaanpää Yhteislyseo and Honkajoki Upper Secondary School will continue with face-to-face teaching.

Arrangements for graduation parties

Educational institutions can organize celebrations in basic municipalities in such a way that the graduates are grouped in groups of 20 and only a limited number of staff are present. The public is not invited to attend, but relatives are taken into account, for example by offering the possibility of remote participation (livestream, etc.). If there is plenty of space in the hall or the celebration is held outdoors, the AVI gathering restrictions and compliance with Section 58c of the TTL are taken into account.

For private parties, the current recommendation is to limit gatherings to 20 people. It is recommended that parties be organized in a staggered manner so that no more than 20 people are present at a time.

Exercise facilities

The Kankaanpää sports centre and the Honkala multi-purpose centre are in limited use for school groups, for hobby activities for people aged 20 and under, and for separately defined training activities (e.g. Finnish Championship level training). Adults are also allowed to exercise indoors starting from 17.5.2021 May XNUMX. See more detailed recommendations for hobby activities later in the announcement.

The swimming pool is open to a limited number of users, with one third of the changing rooms being used at any one time. Masks are recommended outside of the washing and swimming areas. In addition, sufficient distance must be maintained from other users.

City library

Limited services, such as short-term lending for a limited number of visitors and the use of public computers for essential transactions, will be offered while maintaining safe distances. Reading rooms will be kept closed and public events will be held remotely.

Town Museum

The activity must be organized for a limited number of customers while maintaining safety distances. For possible public events, the current regulations of the Finnish Public Health Agency regarding public events held indoors must be followed. The current gathering limit is 20 people.

Youth facilities

The activities of the youth facilities Ketun Golo and Honkala should be organized in a way that safe distances can be maintained. Activities will be reduced, providing the opportunity for a safe indoor space, but avoiding activities where protective measures cannot be adhered to. The use of a face mask is recommended, especially for young people of middle school age and older. The number of people allowed in the facilities can be considered locally depending on the size of the facilities and other circumstances. It is recommended to provide young people with information about the coronavirus and how to get tested.

Other city facilities and services

Other city facilities and office doors, including City Hall, are still closed. City staff are working remotely where possible in accordance with the Government's recommendations. It is recommended that all interactions with city employees be handled by phone and email.

Other current recommendations

Hobby activity

Adult leisure activities

Outdoor exercise areas should be kept open for voluntary exercise. Adults can exercise outdoors while avoiding close contact. In municipalities at the basic level, group exercise activities for adults can also be started indoors from 17.5.2021 May 20, in groups of a maximum of XNUMX people, following safety distances and the instructions of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports and Science and the Ministry of Health and Welfare. The use of face masks is recommended. Private operators are also recommended to follow the recommendations.

Children's and youth leisure activities

Children aged 12 and under can play indoors and outdoors with their own team/group. Matches, competitions and performances both outdoors and indoors are permitted with localities at the basic level, provided that Satakunta is still at the basic level.

Young people aged 13-20 can practice indoor and outdoor sports within their own team/group. Youth matches, competitions and performances are permitted outdoors with localities at the basic level, provided that Satakunta is still at the basic level.

Please note that if there is an audience present, the current AVI regulation regarding public events must be observed.

The recommendation for recreational activities does not apply to national team activities in individual or team sports, Finnish Championship and Division I level competition and training activities, and professional training aimed at reaching the international peak.

Working remotely

ATTR recommends that the Government's guidelines on teleworking be applied as widely as possible in Satakunta, meaning that employees of both the public sector and private employers work remotely as widely as possible, if the work tasks allow it, and that workplaces promote work arrangements that reduce close contact and other risk factors.

Travel recommendation

ATTR recommends avoiding unnecessary travel abroad. Domestic travel is no longer restricted. Domestic travel should follow the guidelines of the region in question.

Mask recommendation

ATTR strongly recommends the widespread use of face masks throughout Satakunta, in accordance with the broadest recommendation from the Finnish Institute for Health and Welfare. The recommendation applies to all residents of the Satakunta area over the age of 12, as well as the following groups: students under the age of 12, if the school has so-called shared classes, where younger students study in the same room as 12-year-olds, and students under the age of 12 on school transport, if they are accompanied by students aged 12 or older on the same transport.

Public events

AVI's currently valid decision to limit public gatherings to 20 people is valid from May 12.5 to May 25.5.2021, XNUMX.
