The City of Kankaanpää is looking for summer workers for the city's Built Environment business unit, mainly for maintenance tasks in public areas. The tasks mainly consist of maintaining and cleaning park and garden areas according to the instructions given. The work may also include other tasks that are assigned separately.
The work sites are located in different parts of the Kankaanpää city center or in the Honkajoki urban area.
Requirements for the applicant: The applicant must be at least 16 years old and under 24 years old at the time of starting work. Preference will be given to applicants who have not previously worked for the city. We expect the applicant to be punctual, energetic, and have an enthusiastic and positive attitude.
Working hours: The weekly working time is 38 hours and 15 minutes.
Working hours are:
- Monday – Wednesday 7.00–16.00
- Thursday 7.00–15.15
- Friday 7.00–15.00
The working day includes a one-hour lunch break.
Pay: Monthly salary 1570 euros.

The duration of the employment relationship is approximately one month.
You can choose your preferred working hours from three options (you can also select all groups), which are as follows, with their preliminary selection criteria:
- group May 6 – June 5 (Kankaanpää: 4 people)
- group June 4th – July 3rd (Kankaanpää: 6 people and Honkajoki: 2 people)
- group July 6th – August 7th (Kankaanpää: 6 people and Honkajoki: 2 people)
In the application, you can also indicate your preferred working area: the area of the city of Kankaanpää or the area of the former municipality of Honkajoki.

Selections will be made in March. Applicants who are not selected may be placed on a reserve list for possible cancellations and additional selections. All applicants will be notified of the decision by email.
