Hazardous waste must be brought to the collection truck during collection time. The collection truck only accepts waste oil in small batches (manually lifted canisters). Oil drums cannot be accepted because the truck does not have a suction facility.

Household hazardous waste can be brought to the collection truck free of charge during the campaign. The Kooninkeitaan waste station receives household hazardous waste free of charge all year round.
