The City of Kankaanpää participated in the Municipal Survey 2024 carried out by the Association of Finnish Local and Regional Authorities. A good living environment and a good apartment came in second place, as 95% and 93% of respondents considered them to be important parts of a good living environment. Closeness to nature (91%) and family and other loved ones (90%) followed.
