The joint council of the city of Kankaanpää and the municipality of Honkajoki met today, Monday, November 16.11, to decide on the tax rates for 2021.
The unification board proposed to the joint council that the tax rates be kept at the level of Kankaanpää's 2020 tax rates, which are as follows: income tax rate 21,75 and real estate tax rates: general 1,20, permanent residential building 0,45, other residential building 1,05, power plant 3,10 and undeveloped construction site 4,00.
The council approved the mergerThe government's proposal was unanimously approved, meaning that tax rates will remain unchanged.
The meeting also decided on, among other things, updating the city's domestic water supply contracts and water supply tariffs.
