The most anticipated Christmas card campaign starts now! The creative care community Siskot ja Simot and its partners are organizing the eleventh Christmas Mail for the Elderly campaign from November 13.11 to December 4.12.2023, 127. So far, XNUMX localities have signed up to participate in the Christmas card collection. The campaign collects Christmas cards for elderly customers of home care and housing services.
This is the fourth time that cards are being collected in Kankaanpää. After the campaign period, the collected cards will be delivered to the customers of the housing service units and home care in the Satakunta welfare area of North Satakunta to make their Christmas preparations a little happier. Last year, no fewer than 720 cards were distributed in Kankaanpää.
- By sending a Christmas card, you can give a lonely elderly person the feeling that they have been thought of. A small card can be a joy for a long time, executive director of Siskot ja Simot ry Eero Väisänen says.
The campaign's partners are the Association of Local and Regional Authorities, the Association of Civic Colleges and the Civic Arena. The campaign is patronized by President Sauli Niinistö.
Participating in the campaign is easy and fun
You can participate in the campaign by making a Christmas card and delivering it to the collection point between November 13.11 and December 4.12. Write Merry Christmas wishes on the card.
