The city of Kankaanpää suspended the organization of traditional Thursday Market Days in March due to the coronavirus situation.
Market Days will continue on a limited basis from Thursday, May 7.5th.
Sales locations will be arranged for those who have reserved a place for the year in such a way that the entire market area will be available. The locations will be as spacious as possible so that transactions can be carried out without congestion and unnecessary contact.
Other vendors will also be placed at the market if possible. They are asked to contact the market supervisor in advance, tel. 044 577 2701.
NOTE! There will be no café operations at the market for the time being. Take-away food sales are possible.
Let's take care of distances and hygiene
Visitors to the market and market vendors are asked to follow the restrictions and recommendations issued by the Government due to the coronavirus situation.
Groups, queues and unnecessary lingering should be avoided at the market. Unfortunately, the market is not currently for socializing and meeting friends, but only for shopping. If you are sick, you should not shop at the market.
Market vendors are asked to ensure that the queues at their point of sale are sufficiently wide. Payment transactions are recommended to be made using contactless payment cards. If payment is made in cash, hygiene must be taken care of. Hand sanitizers are recommended for customers at points of sale.
