Free collection of twigs and raking waste for households is ongoing throughout October.

Raked waste containers:

• Keitankatu 16 (Järventausta) + container for twigs
• Tuomaankatu 2 (Myllymäki)
• Jalavankatu parking area (Reima)
• Laarikatu (Kärki)
• Jämintie 2 (from the city center) + container for twigs
• Honkajoki (gas station Kauppatie 13)

Raking waste includes leaves from trees and shrubs, green-stemmed plants, hay, and cut grass. Raking waste is composted, so it must not contain plastic, sand, stones, twigs or other waste.

Branch waste includes branches, twigs, and stems of woody plants. The twig waste is chipped, so it must not contain plastic, stones, sand, leaves or other waste.

Large quantities of raked leaves from households can also be taken to Kooninkeitaa during collection hours (Mon 10am-18pm, Tue and Thu 14pm-18pm). Raking waste is emptied from the bags into the raked waste pile.
