The decision made by the Regional State Administrative Agency for Southwest Finland on January 14.1 continues to prohibit public events and general meetings and to continue restrictions on the closure and use of facilities in Satakunta from January 16 to 28.1. The regulations on the closure of facilities are targeted at customer, participant and waiting areas, which are used for, among other things, team sports and group exercise.
However, children and young people born in 2003 and later can continue their supervised leisure activities in facilities designated as closed without an audience. For club use, each club is obliged to ensure that the operators and 16–18-year-old enthusiasts arriving for their shifts have a corona pass. A corona pass is not required for general shifts at gyms.
Kankaanpää swimming pool will open to the public on Tuesday, January 18.1. A corona pass is required for those over 16 years of age at the swimming pool. The corona pass will be checked at the swimming pool cashier. In addition to the passport, the customer must bring an ID card.
Statutory services such as libraries and youth centers can still be open, subject to health and safety guidelines. The museum is also open, and a corona passport is not required.
