The City of Kankaanpää is seeking a Marketing and Communications Manager for a permanent position starting January 1.1.2023, XNUMX. The Marketing and Communications Manager is responsible for the comprehensive development of the city's marketing and communications. The Marketing and Communications Manager is a member of the city's management team. The position is defined as a management position and includes supervisory duties.

The Marketing and Communications Manager is responsible for the content planning, management and implementation of the city's marketing and communications in various communication channels, compiling and producing marketing materials, communicating with various stakeholders, planning and implementing marketing and communications campaigns, and participating in the branding work of the City of Kankaanpää.

In addition to the Marketing and Communications Manager, the Marketing and Communications Service Unit also includes a Marketing Assistant, whose supervisor is the Marketing and Communications Manager.

The minimum qualifications for the position are a university degree, experience in practical communication tasks, excellent knowledge of Finnish, and good oral and written knowledge of English.

Good communication and teamwork skills, the ability to work independently, experience in creating and maintaining media relations, and the ability to produce new content for various communication channels are considered an advantage. We value knowledge of the municipal field.

The terms of employment are determined in accordance with the Finnish Employment Contracts and Employment Standards Act. The position's specific salary is EUR 3.461,35. The position is subject to a six (6) month probationary period.
