The City of Kankaanpää will introduce the Lupapiste electronic service, which will streamline construction permit processing, starting on March 17.3.2022, XNUMX. This will allow various construction projects to be prepared electronically from start to finish together with authorities and other construction professionals. The Lupapiste streamlines permit processing and frees the permit applicant from agency schedules and the need to submit paper documents to various parties.

The service brings together various parties involved in building permits at a common address and enables advice, permit applications and official dealings to be handled electronically. The service advises applicants on the need for permits and the requirements for applying for permits.

"Construction projects can be prepared for processing in the service in cooperation with the authorities. Applications and materials are transmitted electronically directly to the municipality's systems, and they do not need to be separately submitted in paper form to many different parties," says the building inspector of the city of Kankaanpää. New service speeds up permit processing   

After the decision, official matters during construction can also be handled in the same service. In the service, the applicant can follow the progress of permits and see comments and changes made by other parties, such as the authority, designers or other project parties, in real time.

"The Lupapiste service guides the customer to find the location of the object on the map and to make an application or notification based on the selected action. For example, property information can be easily obtained for a request for advice or a permit application using the service's location data. The service also eases the municipal authority's email congestion and reduces the need for telephone advice. This speeds up and streamlines permit processing," says Kari Syrjärinne from Cloudpermit Oy, which provides the Lupapiste service.

The permit point does not eliminate the possibility of traditional paper transactions or face-to-face meetings with authorities, but the goal is to provide a functional and good electronic channel to facilitate transactions.
