ATTR recommends avoiding unnecessary travel abroad. Domestic travel is no longer restricted. Domestic travel should follow the guidelines of the region in question.

Mask recommendation

The use of a mask is recommended in the following situations and for the following people over the age of 12:

• People seeking a coronavirus test on their way to the sample collection and before the test result is ready, if there is a necessary reason to move outside the home.

• Travelers arriving in Finland from a risk area when they move from the point of entry to quarantine or if they have a necessary reason to move outside their home during quarantine.

• When traveling domestically, you should follow the instructions of the destination regarding the use of a mask.

• When visiting or working in a hospital, health center, or 24-hour care facility.

• It is also a good idea to always wear a face mask in situations where avoiding close contact is difficult, for example at public events, or indoors when there are a lot of people.

Public events

The Regional State Administrative Agency for Southwest Finland has revoked the decision it issued on 25.5 May in Satakunta on restrictions on gatherings. Private events

At a basic level, a separate limit on the number of people is no longer recommended for private events, but it is the responsibility of the event organizer to ensure that participants have the opportunity to clean their hands and maintain sufficient distances. In addition, Section 58 c of the Infectious Diseases Act must be taken into account when cleaning surfaces.Measures to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 epidemic". Indoors, it is recommended to wear a mouth-nose mask in accordance with the instructions of the Finnish Institute for Health and Welfare, especially if safety distances cannot be observed.
