The GEO Learning Center in Honkajoki will open its doors again for the summer for summer vacationers, families and everyone interested in nature. Welcome to stop by and experience nature through various activities and tools! Peek into a beehive with virtual glasses, create your own waterways with an augmented reality sandbox or explore what the savanna looks like. There will be a summer guide on site who will guide you in using the equipment and give tips on nearby excursion destinations in the Lauhanvuori-Hämeenkangas UNESCO Global Geopark.

The center is open on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays 10–15 from June 3 to August 2, 2025 (closed on Midsummer's Day, June 21). Please note that the doors will be temporarily closed during the summer guide's lunch break from 12–12.30.

Parking: In the yard of Honkajoki Upper Secondary School and at the staff electricity pole spaces. There is also parking space in the yard of Honkala Community Centre.

The GEO learning environment, which operates in connection with Honkajoki Upper Secondary School, has been created specifically for the needs of environmental education for educational institutions and school groups.
