SAMK Kankaanpää Art School will organize two events during the spring related to the development of cooperation between art and tourism.

On Wednesday, April 22nd from 14-16 pm, the topic will be the history and future of Hämeen- and Pohjankangas. The event will feature speeches from, among others, archaeologist Teemu Väisänen, who is familiar with the prehistory of Satakunta, biologist Hannu Raitio, who has had a long career in forest research, and visual artist Kirsi Jaakkola from Kankaanpää.

On Tuesday, May 5th from 12-15, the topic will be The Gamified Source of the King – Art, Gamification and Artificial Intelligence as a Tool for Prototyping.

The events are part of the Art, Technology and Sustainable Tourism project, which is implemented in collaboration with SAMK, Lauhanvuori-Hämeenkangas Geopark and the City of Kankaanpää.
