The Innovation Award granted by the City of Kankaanpää has been awarded since 2022.

The Innovation Award is awarded for a good innovative idea/method of operation that has advanced the well-being and development of our region. The field of activity of the idea is not limited. It can be a small or large innovation, an idea or a method that has made Kankaanpää known. The Innovation Award is awarded in two categories: Private and Companies/communities.

The Innovation Working Group will select the winners. The prize for the Private category is 500 euros. The prize for the Companies and Communities category is 500 euros to be used for staff or community recreation.

Suggestions are collected via an electronic survey, which is open until January 28, 2026.
