Available street plans
The street shall be built in accordance with a plan approved by the city's technical committee. The street shall be designed and constructed in such a way that it adapts to its environment as defined in the local plan and meets the requirements of functionality, safety and amenity (MRL 132/1992, Section 85).
The street plan presents the use of the street area for different purposes and the adaptation of the street to the environment. The street plan shows the principles of traffic organization of the street, drainage and rainwater drainage, the elevation of the street and paving material, and, if necessary, plantings and permanent structures and equipment. A separate street plan is not prepared for minor and individual changes to traffic organization in the street area (e.g., the placement of traffic signs, the construction of speed bumps). A decision on these is made by the technical committee or by the office holder, if the committee has delegated decision-making.
The preparation of street plans for new streets will begin in connection with the town planning process, and the opportunity for residents to participate in the preparation of the street plan has been arranged in connection with the town planning or other planning of a wider area.
Before confirmation, the street plan proposal will be kept publicly visible for 14 days. The visibility will be announced by publishing a notice on the city notice board and on the electronic notice board of the city website, in accordance with the decision of the city council.
The owners and holders of properties bordering the planned area will be notified by letter of the display and of the right to make a complaint.
