Water utility service fees
The Kankaanpää City Water Supply Authority charges the fees stated in this price list to cover the costs of water supply. Changes in the tax rate are transferred to the fees without checking the price list.
Water meter inspection fee
A water meter inspection fee is charged for checking the water meter reading by the water supply company if the inspection is carried out at the request of the subscriber and the error found is smaller than specified in the general terms and conditions of delivery.
The inspection fee is €59,50 (VAT 0) / inspection.
The costs of replacing a water meter due to freezing, mechanical damage, etc. will be charged to the customer. The fee consists of labor, material, and supply costs.
Water meter reading fee
The customer shall provide the utility with the reading information required for billing at the times specified by the utility. A meter reading fee will be charged if the customer has not provided the utility with the meter reading within the specified time, or the meter reading has to be performed by the utility after a meter reading request has been made, or the customer has requested a separate meter reading from the utility.
The unit price of the water meter reading fee is €59,50 (VAT 0).
Construction fees for plot lines
The utility charges construction fees in accordance with Table 1 in connection with community construction. The fee includes labor, supplies, excavation and backfilling costs, and a maximum of 2 meters of the main pipe installed outside the street area. If necessary, excavation will be charged separately to the customer. The fee does not include landscaping, planting, or yard work.

The rock excavation fee is €55,00 (VAT 0) / cubic meter.
Connection fees for plot cables
The utility charges the customer for the construction costs incurred for materials, supplies and work incurred in retroactively connecting the site line to the utility's network.
Closing and opening the plot line valve
Opening and closing the valve can take place at the customer's request or at the facility's initiative, e.g. in situations regulated in more detail in the Water Supply General Terms and Conditions.
The fee for opening and closing the valve is €59,50 (VAT 0) / one-time procedure.
Fees charged for fire extinguishing water systems (sprinklers)
The facility charges a sprinkler fee for providing property-specific firefighting water. The sprinkler fee is €250 (VAT 0) / year.
Treatment of septic tank and closed tank sludge
A processing fee of €7,50 (VAT 0) / m³ is charged for septic tank and closed tank sludge received and processed by the plant.
Other work ordered by the customer
For work performed for a subscriber or other customer that is not specifically mentioned in the tariff or this price list, the actual costs incurred by the utility will be charged.
The facility has the right to charge the customer a visit fee for an unwarranted visit made at the customer's request due to equipment defects in the property, improper use of equipment, or other similar reasons not attributable to the facility.
The visit fee at the property is €59,50 (VAT 0) / visit.
Hourly rate used in billing
In cases where the costs incurred by the institution are charged according to actual costs, the hourly rate for the employee is €40,30 (VAT 0), which includes salary, other personnel costs and a share of administrative costs. The hourly rate for the supervisor is €51,50 (VAT 0), which includes salary, other personnel costs and a share of administrative costs.
VAT on service fees
All of the above fees will be subject to the applicable value added tax.
Late payment interest and collection costs
The default interest is the interest rate in accordance with the Interest Act in force at any given time. Collection costs are charged at €5 for each payment reminder. Other collection costs are charged according to the costs incurred by the institution in the collection measures.
