Water utility fees

The water utility charges the fees listed in this tariff, taking into account the general terms of delivery and the terms of the contracts. In addition, the utility has a separate service fee price list.

Joining fee

The connection fee entitles you to connect to the institution's network.

Determining the connection fee

The water supply company connection fee (L) is determined based on the intended use of the property as follows:

p = service coefficient, the coefficient is 1,0 if the property is connected to a water main, a wastewater sewer and a stormwater sewer. The sub-coefficients are:

k = coefficient according to property type:

k = 6, Small houses (detached, semi-detached and terraced houses)
k = 4, Apartment building
k = 4, Commercial, residential, office and public buildings
k = 8, Leisure buildings
k = 1, Industrial and production buildings without plumbing fixtures
k = 3, Industrial and production buildings with water fixtures
k = 1, Agricultural buildings with water fixtures

Each separate building is considered separately with coefficients according to its main purpose.

The institution charges an additional connection fee when the circumstances that form the basis for the customer's connection fee change after the connection fee was determined. An additional connection fee is charged when the change in the basis for determination is at least 10%.

Exceptions

If the property is located outside the normal connection distance (more than 100 m) or the property belongs to a water utility, 50% of the connection fee will be charged. The connection distance is measured from the outer wall of the building where the water meter is installed to the property's connection point in the utility's main network.

Basic fee

The basic fee is charged from the time the property is connected to the network until the property is permanently disconnected from the network.

The basic fee is charged separately for water and wastewater.

Increased basic fee

The basic fee may be increased for properties that discharge stormwater (rainwater and foundation drainage water) into the wastewater network in an area where there is a separate stormwater network. The increased fee may be charged no earlier than one year after the authority has determined in its inspection that separation is possible and has issued instructions for carrying out the separation.

The increased basic fee is 2 x the basic wastewater fee for the property in question. The increase in the basic fee is eliminated when the property is connected to the stormwater network.

Usage fee

The usage fee is based on the amount of water used by the property. It is measured by a water meter installed by the utility. The usage fee is charged separately for water and sewage. The usage fees for residential properties and properties comparable to them in terms of water supply are:

In exceptional cases, for special reasons, the facility may charge a usage fee based on the estimated amount of water used or sewage discharged.

VAT on the basic fee and user fee

The current value-added tax is added to the basic fees and usage fees.

Exceptions

Fees for non-residential properties and properties comparable to them in terms of water supply are priced separately, if necessary. The same applies to fees for subscribers referred to in section 2.5 of the general terms and conditions of water supply.

The institution has the right to charge an increased wastewater usage fee if the property has not connected to the municipal stormwater network within a one-year transition period from the start of the increased basic fee and continues to discharge the property's stormwater into the wastewater network. The increase in the wastewater usage fee is 100% of the wastewater usage fee according to the tariff.

Late payment interest and collection costs

The default interest is the interest rate in accordance with the Interest Act in force at any given time. A collection fee of €5 is charged for each payment reminder. Other collection fees are charged according to the costs incurred by the institution in the collection measures.
