Illumination takes us back to its hilarious animated world with its new film, Minions & Monsters, which introduces completely new characters to the world's most popular animated franchise.

The unrestrained, riotous and completely based on true events film tells the story of how the Minions conquer Hollywood and become movie stars, lose everything, become the ones who unleashed monsters into the world and ultimately join forces to save the planet from the chaos they themselves caused.

The original voice cast includes Academy Award® winner Allison Janney, two-time Academy Award® winner Christoph Waltz, Academy Award® winner Jeff Bridges, two-time Academy Award® nominee Jesse Eisenberg, Zoey Deutch (Nouvelle Vague) and Academy Award® nominee Trey Parker, also known as one of the creators of South Park. The cast is also rounded out by former Saturday Night Live star Bobby Moynihan and Phil LaMarr (Futurama, King of the Hill).

Minions & Monsters is directed by Oscar-nominated Pierre Coffin, whose credits include the first three Despicable Me films and the first Minions film. Coffin has also voiced the Minions themselves since their film debut in 2010. The film is written by Brian Lynch (Minions, The Secret Life of Pets films) and Pierre Coffin. The film is also produced by Oscar-nominated Illumination founder and CEO Chris Meledandri and Bill Ryan (executive producer of The Super Mario Bros. Movie).
