The most beloved Christmas card campaign starts now! The creative caring community Siskot ja Simot and its partners are organizing the tenth Christmas Mail for Seniors campaign from November 14.11 to December 5.12.2022, 133. A record XNUMX locations have registered for the Christmas card collection.

Christmas cards are being collected for the elderly in Kankaanpää for the third time. After the campaign period, the collected cards will be delivered to the housing service units and home care clients of the Northern Satakunta Basic Services Joint Municipal Authority in the city to brighten their Christmas anticipation. Last year, over 700 cards were distributed in Kankaanpää.

– This year, a record number of localities are participating in making the elderly happy. It is great that touching with a card is resonating in different parts of Finland. We also believe that the card makers will enthusiastically participate in the campaign, Executive Director of the Sisters and Simot Association Eero Väisänen says.

The partners of the campaign are the Municipal Association, the Association of Citizens' Colleges and the Citizen's Arena.

You can participate in the campaign by making a Christmas card and delivering it to the collection point between 14.11 November and 5.12 December. Follow the instructions below: Write your wishes for a Merry Christmas on the card. Write “For you” in the recipient field and your name and “Sisters and Sims” in the sender field. Drop the card as it is in the nearest collection box. Please do not seal the card in an envelope.

In Kankaanpää, the main library and Honkajoki library are the collection points. Cards can be left through the return hatches and also inside the libraries during opening hours. Cards can be sent by post to the following address: Kankaanpää City Library, PO Box 186, 38701 Kankaanpää. Mark the envelope with “Christmas mail for the elderly”.
