“WM-Plast has a long history and strong expertise, so the acquisition supports our production well. The mold shop designs and makes molds and maintains them when necessary,” Kalliainen says.
When others shrank during the recession of the 2000s, Leomuovi invested in stores. Katko and Ensto outsourced their thermosetting plastic production, and Leomuovi stepped in. In addition, the company has acquired many small players in the industry.
