The percentage art project related to the renovation of the Kankaanpää sports center has started.
The procurement procedure is a competition, to which the visual artists Jaakko Niemelä, Kirsi Kaulanen, Janne Nabb/Maria Teeri and Antti Laitinen have been invited. This is a diverse, high-quality group, so we are waiting for proposals with great enthusiasm. The artists have plenty to offer, the latest news came just after the competition was announced: Nabbteeri has been selected for next summer's Veniceas artists of the Nordic Pavilion at the Biennale.
The winner of the competition will be announced by February 18.2.2019, 2019, and the work is scheduled to be completed in November XNUMX. The project has received support from the Finnish Arts Promotion Agency.
