A Christmas card campaign is being launched again in Kankaanpää to delight the elderly.

The most anticipated Christmas card campaign is starting soon. The creative caring community Siskot ja Simot and its partners are organizing the thirteenth Christmas Mail for the Elderly campaign from November 3 to December 4, 2025. The campaign, which has gained great popularity, collects Christmas cards for elderly clients of home care and housing services.

This is the sixth time that cards are being collected in Kankaanpää. After the campaign period, the collected cards will be delivered to the customers of the housing service units and home care in the Satakunta welfare area of North Satakunta to cheer up their Christmas anticipation. Last year, a fantastic number of 1172 cards were distributed in Kankaanpää.

– A small Christmas card can bring great joy and heart-warming feelings of caring to a lonely elderly person for a long time, Executive Director of the Sisters and Sisters Association Hanna Simola says.

The campaign's partners are the Association of Local and Regional Authorities, the Association of Civic Schools, the Civic Arena and the Tammenlehvän Heritage Association. The campaign's patron is the President of the Republic, Alexander Stubb.

Participating in the campaign is easy and fun
