The general provision on public announcements is in the Administrative Procedure Act. If, according to another law, a document must be served by public announcement, service is provided by publishing the announcement and the document to be announced on the municipality's website. The city of Kankaanpää publishes announcements in the Dynasty information service, from which they automatically appear on the electronic notice board on the city's homepage. The announcement and the document to be announced must be kept publicly visible on the municipality's website for 14 days. If the appeal period or other deadline affecting the recipient's rights begins to expire after the document is served, the announcement and the document to be announced must be kept publicly visible until the end of the aforementioned deadline.
