Participatory budgeting
Participatory budgeting is an operating model in which local residents are given the opportunity to influence the choice of the use of the budget allocation. In Kankaanpää, the allocation for participatory budgeting in 2026 is 20.000 euros. The use or uses of the allocation can be planned and decided by the residents. Schedule 2025: proposal phase by February 15th, voting phase in March and results will be announced in week 15.
