Administrative rule

Every municipality and joint municipal authority must have an administrative regulation, the content of which is defined in section 90 of the Municipal Act. The administrative regulation must provide the necessary provisions on at least the matters listed in the Municipal Act. The council decides on the content and amendments to the administrative regulation. The provisions of the administrative regulation must be followed in the administration of the municipality.

The Kankaanpää City Group includes subsidiaries. The city is also involved in joint municipal boards. As an owner-manager, the city board monitors and guides the group's subsidiaries to operate in accordance with the strategy. The management of the city group is guided by the group guidelines approved by the city council on 13 November 2017. The city council amended the guidelines on 3 February 2025.

Remuneration and travel rules for shop stewards

The representative is paid a fee for performing a position of trust, compensation for loss of earnings and costs incurred due to the position of trust in hiring a substitute, arranging childcare or other similar reasons, as well as compensation for travel expenses and a daily allowance in accordance with the remuneration and travel rules for representatives.
