The Art Circle is a gradually expanding collection of over 120 works of art permanently installed in the urban environment. You can explore the Art Circle by walking along the Art Path or even jogging around the circle. The Art Circle is a collection where the work of art, the environment and the landscape come together in the finest possible way.

Advice and guidance

In connection with events, you can explore the works of the Circle of Art on guided walking and/or cycling tours. It is also easy to get around the Circle of Art on your own. Just go on an adventure and discover the sites! The Circle of Art brochure is available from, among others, the city library, the sports center and the Kahvila Postelli on the side of the market square.

There are three The Circle of Art signboards in the city centre. The route's identification plaque is a concrete slab installed in the paving stones, with the Circle of Art logo embedded in the upper surface in steel. The slabs are paid for by companies and communities and the donor's name is engraved on the surface of the logo; the proceeds are used to finance the restoration of the works. The route is also identified in the urban space by stone blocks and stone bollards. The names of the works and artists can be found engraved on the slabs near the works.

The artworks and information in the Circle of Art have been updated by the DIGIVAPA project of the City of Kankaanpää and SAMK's Ecomuseum projects during the summer of 2021.
