The Association Parliament acts as an expert for the City of Kankaanpää on issues related to sports and club activities, especially for sports services and the Culture and Leisure Committee.

The parliament does not have actual decision-making power in the city organization and does not pay meeting fees.

The main goal of the club parliament is to strengthen the position of Kankaanpää's sports culture and club activities in cooperation with sports services.

The Parliament's goals also include the ideation and implementation of new forms of action and increasing cooperation through concrete actions.

The club parliament consists of eight club members at a time, who are elected by the club forum from among themselves. The members of the club parliament are representatives of sports clubs registered in Kankaanpää. Each club has one vote. The election aims to ensure diverse sports representation. Only one representative can be elected from the same club.

The decisions of the club parliament are made by majority vote. Each association has 1 vote, regardless of the sport or number of members. In the event of a tie, the chairman's vote is decisive. If a regular member cannot attend, he or she will find a substitute member from his or her own club and notify the secretary of the change.

The meeting minutes are kept by a secretary appointed by the sports services. The meeting agenda is sent to members by email at least one week before the meeting.
