Participatory budgeting is an operating model in which local residents are given the opportunity to influence the choice of where budget appropriations are used.
- The budget allocation for participatory budgeting in Kankaanpää in 2026 is 20.000 euros. The use or uses of the budget can be planned and decided by the residents. First, ideas are proposed and then voted on.
- The funds will be used to implement the 1–2 proposals that receive the most votes.
- Vote is available to all residents of the city of Kankaanpää who are at least 12 years old this year (born in 2014 or earlier).
- The voting period ends on March 31, 2026. Fill out the electronic voting form here. If you do not have the opportunity to vote electronically, you can fill out a voting form at the library.
- You can vote in the poll for the three best proposals The vote will be carried out as a weighted vote, whereby the proposal you selected for 1st place will receive five (5) points, the proposal selected for 2nd place will receive three (3) points, and the proposal selected for 3rd place will receive one (1) point.
- The results of the vote will be published in week 15.
