ATTR recommends that areas in the spread phase further tighten their corona restrictions. The meeting received additional instructions from Margit Seppälä, the chief physician responsible for infectious diseases at PoSa.

The next situation review will be made on Friday, February XNUMX, XNUMX, when further information will be provided.
This bulletin provides more detailed information about the upcoming changes to the corona measures for the city of Kankaanpää. Other municipalities in the PoSa area will inform about their own detailed measures on their own websites (links at the end of the bulletin).
Changes to previous measures regarding Kankaanpää
- Kankaanpää Yhteislyseo upper secondary education will move to distance learning in accordance with the ATTR recommendation. However, essential teaching can be carried out in person, and this is how it will be done for high school graduates. Yhteislyseo will inform students about more detailed instructions.
- During the spread phase, it is recommended to close public spaces as widely as possible, while still trying to enable children and young people to do their own hobbies and library lending. In accordance with the recommendation, the City of Kankaanpää will close the facilities of the sports centre (including the swimming pool), the Honkala multi-purpose hall, the city museum and the youth facilities. However, the sports facilities (including the swimming pool) are in limited use for school groups and for children and young people's hobbies, where the maximum number of people is 10 people. The city library, including the Honkajoki library, will once again operate in the form of a limited reserve and pick-up service. The library facilities are otherwise closed.
- ATTR recommends that adult leisure activities be suspended in the Rauma and North Satakunta Basic Service Municipal Joint Authority areas, which are in the spread phase. Leisure activities on city premises are closed in Kankaanpää, with the exception of the previously mentioned school activities, leisure activities for children and young people, and training activities separately defined by ATTR (e.g. Finnish Championship level training).
Other current recommendations remain unchanged, including the use of masks, remote working, gathering restrictions, etc.
