The corona situation in Northern Satakunta is currently calm. The corona cases in Kankaanpää schools and Jämijärvi school, as well as in daycare, have all already recovered and quarantines for those exposed have also ended. Pohjanlinna school will return to normal operations on Monday 6.9 September.

The Regional State Administrative Agency for Southwest Finland has lifted the restrictions on gatherings and the obligation to avoid close contact in Satakunta as of August 27.8. This means that, for example, recreational activities can continue as normal. However, hygiene instructions have not changed, and, for example, the use of a mask is still recommended.

Citizens are encouraged to continue to actively seek corona vaccinations if their vaccine protection is still insufficient (less than 2 doses). Good vaccine protection for adults and young people also protects younger children. Vaccination appointments are widely available at PoSa.
