The raked waste and brush piles have reappeared in their familiar places. Our waste management company, Pohjois-Satakunnan Waste Management Ltd. collects raking waste and twigs throughout May.
The platforms can be found in the following locations:
- Keitankatu 16 (Järventausta) + firewood platform
- Tuomaankatu 2 (Myllymäki)
- Jalavankatu parking area (Reima)
- Laarikatu (Kärki)
- Jämintie 2 (from the city center) + firewood platform
In addition to the raking waste platform, there is a separate platform for twigs on Keitankatu and Jämintie. Separate collection enables further processing: chopping twigs and composting leaves.
Raking waste includes leaves from trees and shrubs, green-stemmed plants, hay and grass clippings. Raking waste is composted, so it must not contain sand, stones, twigs or other waste.
Branches, twigs and stems of woody plants that belong to the brushwood waste are chopped, so there must be no sand, stones, twigs or other waste.
