A meeting place for families

The meeting place for families is open space for everyone, where children, young people and parents can meet each other. The meeting place offers a variety of joint activities that are open, free of charge, barrier-free and accessible. In addition, guidance, advice, information and peer support are available on a low-threshold basis. Above all, the family meeting place offers the opportunity for warm-hearted togetherness in an open atmosphere. The aim of the meeting place is to strengthen the resources and community of families, as well as to offer peer support and reduce the loneliness of families and parents. The activities of the family meeting place are organized in cooperation with the Kankaanpää local association of the Mannerheim League for Child Welfare, the Satakunta Welfare Area, the City of Kankaanpää and other associations, organisations and educational institutions in the area.

Please note: There is no supervision for children at the meeting point, children are the responsibility of their parents.

Place

Meeting place activities are organized in the multi-purpose room of the city's sports center (Jämintie 10).

The family café meets on Wednesdays from 9.30:11.00 to XNUMX:XNUMX.
