From the beginning of 2023, the Satakunta Welfare Region will be responsible for social and health services.

The residents' service number is 0100 2244 The service number serves all residents of Satakunta on weekdays between 8 am and 16 pm. You can call the number when you don't know who to contact in a situation or with a problem. You cannot book or cancel appointments for wellness area services from the service number.

In case of health emergencies, you should contact the emergency number. During weekdays during office hours, in non-urgent cases, you should contact your local health center. If you need urgent care that cannot be postponed until the next day, call the emergency service. 116 117 . Emergency assistance serves the entire Satakunta welfare area.

Honkajoki The social welfare point will end its operations on August 31, 2025 and the services, except for the children's clinic, will be transferred to the Kankaanpää social welfare centre. Honkajoki Health Center is open from July 28th to August 31st on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Energetic for senior years - nutrition portal

The aim of the State Nutrition Advisory Board's project "Energetic into senior years - putting food recommendations for the elderly into practice" is to improve the nutrition of the elderly by increasing the knowledge of those working with the elderly, the elderly themselves and their relatives about good nutrition and its importance. The project is part of the national Age Programme. The aim of the activity is to improve the nutrition of the elderly by increasing information about health-promoting nutrition and its importance.

As part of the project, a nutrition portal has been created under the Ruokavirasto.fi website, which provides reliable information on nutrition and is aimed at the elderly themselves and their loved ones.

The Family Meeting Place is a space open to everyone, where children, young people and parents can meet each other. The Family Meeting Place is organized in cooperation with MLL Kankaanpää, the Satakunta Welfare Area and the City of Kankaanpää, as well as associations, organizations and educational institutions in the area.

• A meeting place for families
