The exhibition presents home textiles from the museum's collections, mainly wall hangings. The two exhibition halls feature not only rugs, rags and sleigh blankets, but also rocking chair rugs, embroidered and woven textiles from the 1800th century to the 1980s. Among the textiles are images from the photo collection, in which the cloth workers have grouped themselves in front of the wall hangings to be photographed. Furniture has also been brought to light under the rocking chair rugs and rags.

For the exhibition, textiles that had been rolled up and wrapped in tissue paper in boxes for decades have been reviewed from autumn 2025. The packages revealed a wide variety of textiles, from Lotta rugs to unfinished channel work. Of these, the most representative and durable ones have been selected for the exhibition.
