School transportation

A pre-school and elementary school student is entitled to free transport if the student's school trip takes the shortest usable route to the pre-school location designated by the city or to a nearby school more than 5 kilometers. In addition to statutory transport, the City of Kankaanpää arranges school transport for preschoolers and 1st-3rd graders of elementary school, if the school trip to a nearby school or preschool is more than 3 kilometersStudents who, based on an official statement, are entitled to free school transportation are also entitled to school transportation.
Children who are being transported to school must follow the school's rules of conduct even during the journey.
