School meals
School meals are good basic food. A school meal includes a hot meal, salad, bread, spread and a drink. The food allowance per student is 90 cents per meal. Finnish nutritional recommendations have been taken into account when planning the menu. In addition to satisfying the student's energy needs, the goal of school meals is to teach healthy eating habits and introduce students to the world of new dishes. Several theme weeks that deviate from the basic menu are organized during the year.
The aim is to arrange meals for students from 10.25:12 a.m. to XNUMX:XNUMX p.m., taking into account their other school schedule. School meals are not intended to be a child's only warm meal per day. With a certificate signed by a school nurse or doctor, students will be provided with a school meal that meets their special dietary needs.
