How did I end up in the countryside?

I'm Marko, and I live in Honkajoki, in Pukarankylä, which is part of Kankaanpää. I work as a track master at the Pesämäki Motorsports Center. The absolute advantages of living in the country are having your own space and not having neighbors too close. That's why I ended up living here.

The most wonderful thing about the countryside:

• Peace – here you don't have to listen to the noise of the city, but you can enjoy the silence.
• Nature – everything is close by and offers a setting for both everyday life and hobbies.
• Space – no neighbors right next door, but your own peace and freedom to do things your own way.

The most terrible in the countryside:

• Long distances – you can't get everywhere in an instant.
• Road condition – sometimes you may have to drive on bumpy roads.
• The availability of services is decreasing – self-reliance becomes an important skill.

Tips for rural life:

It's worth considering whether you want to live in the middle of nature or in the hustle and bustle of the city – life here is different, but rewarding in many ways. Free time here is spent, for example, in motor sports. I recommend trying it out!
