PataviNoS is a common international Leader Program project shared between Veneto´s district in North Italy and North Satakunta in Finland in 2010 – 2013. In the project the partners produce videos, geogoeches and cartoon characters to bring on sight slow tourist resorts and routes.

The University of Padua was founded in 1222 as a school of law and was one of the most prominent universities in early modern Europe.

In the same century in Finland The Legend of Saint Henry was written in 1290. In that Kyro, the medieval mother parish of the North Satakunta, was mentioned in writing the first time.

As targets there are routes and places which have connections with cultural and historical notables and characters and are interesting from the partner´s perspective. Like the old Kyronkankaantie road, on which Giuseppe Acerbi travelled in 1799. And the Baron of Parkano, Villa Mairea designed by architect Alvar Aalto, Art Institute of Kankaanpaa, Jami and Pesamaki happening centers and great swamp protectorates by the road.

The project management is located in the cities of Padova and Kankaanpaa. The project areas consist of 22 000 square kilometers and 4,6 million inhabitants. The Finnish project partner is Kankaanpaa Seura ry.
